Gusty Breezes, Rising Temps, and Storm Risks Ahead for South Florida

Friday features a few morning storms followed by plenty of clouds on a gusty breeze and a bit of sun in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with a gusty breeze and a few afternoon storms.  Look for plenty of clouds and showers in the Keys.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast.

Saturday will bring mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze to the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast will see lots of sun with the chance of an afternoon storm.  The Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of showers and storms.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic coast.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.

Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds, a gusty breeze, and afternoon storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny with the chance of a storm or two.  Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.

Monday will see some sun, more clouds, and afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with periods of showers and storms in the afternoon.  The Keys will see plenty of clouds and the chance of a shower.  Monday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for plenty of clouds and periods of showers and storms in the East Coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and storms.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the upper 80s.
