Hot sun dominates the region with dangerous triple-digit feels-like temperatures, scattered afternoon storms, and quiet tropical Atlantic waters.
Thursday features hot sun, some clouds, and the chance of an afternoon storm in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see lots of hot sun and a few afternoon storms. The Keys will be mostly sunny and hot. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 90s — but it will feel at least 10 degrees hotter, so stay hydrated and out of the sun.
Friday will bring lots of hot sun to all of South Florida. The East Coast metro area could see a few showers and maybe a storm in spots, while the Gulf Coast could see an afternoon storm in spots. Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Saturday will feature hot sun and maybe a cloud or two around South Florida. The mainland can expect an afternoon storm in spots. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Sunday will be sunny and hot throughout South Florida, with some afternoon storms on the mainland as well. Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-90s on the mainland and mostly in the low-90s in the Keys.
Monday’s forecast calls for lots of hot sun again. The mainland will also see a shower or storm in spots. Highs on Monday will be mostly in the mid-90s in the East Coast metro area and in the low-90s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
The tropical Atlantic is quiet right now.
