Prepare for a sizzling Mother's Day weekend with unseasonably high temperatures followed by a chance of storms Monday.
Friday features plenty of hot sun and maybe a cloud or two on the mainland. The Keys will see a mix of hot sun and clouds. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast and mostly in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys — but it will feel hotter everywhere, so be sure to stay hydrated.
Saturday will bring mostly sunny skies to the East Coast and the Keys. Look for lots of sun along the Gulf Coast. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.
Mother’s Day will feature more clouds than sun on the East Coast. The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny — but all of South Florida will be unseasonably hot. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Monday will see plenty of clouds and some sun around South Florida. The East Coast will also see afternoon showers and storms. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s on the East Coast and near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for plenty of clouds, some hot sun, and periods of showers and storms in the East Coast. The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny. Highs on Tuesday will be near 90 degrees.
