South Florida Forecast: Stormy Mainland and Keys Transition Toward a Sun-Drenched Friday

Expect heavy clouds and afternoon showers early this week before bright sunshine returns to South Florida this Friday.

Monday features plenty of clouds and afternoon showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will be mostly sunny, with a chance of showers or storms in spots.  Monday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s on the East Coast, in the mid-90s along the Gulf Coast, and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Tuesday will bring clouds, plenty of showers, and maybe a storm to the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see plenty of clouds, showers, and storms in spots.  Tuesday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf Coast.

Wednesday will feature lots of clouds around South Florida.  Look for plenty of showers in the East Coast and a few afternoon showers and storms along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s on the East Coast and the Keys and near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast.

Thursday will see some sun, more clouds, and some afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast.  Look for mostly sunny skies along the Gulf Coast and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Friday’s forecast calls for lots of sun around South Florida.  Highs on Friday will be in the upper 80s in the East Coast and the Keys and near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast.
