South Florida Weekend Sunshine Meets Afternoon Storms As Tropics Stay Quiet

Saturday features mostly sunny skies and some afternoon showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will see plenty of sun, with a chance of showers or storms.  Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area, near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Sunday will bring lots of sun to the mainland, but afternoon showers and storms will return.  Look for sunny skies and maybe a stray shower or storm in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area, near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Monday will feature sunny skies and a chance of showers or storms throughout South Florida.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area, near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper 80s in the Keys.

Tuesday will see a sunny morning with afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see sunny skies.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for plenty of sun with a few showers and maybe a storm on the mainland, while the Keys will see lots of sun.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 90s.

In the tropics, a low is forming in the Bay of Campeche, but it has a low chance of developing into a depression before reaching the eastern Mexican coast on Saturday or early Sunday.
