Sunshine starts the holiday week before Thursday storms clear out for a warm and mostly bright Easter Sunday.
Wednesday features some sun and more clouds, with a gusty breeze, in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast and the Keys will see mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches on Wednesday and will remain until at least Friday evening. Sunset will be at 7:38 pm as Passover begins. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.
Thursday will bring plenty of clouds and periods of showers and storms on a gusty breeze in the east coast metro area and the Keys, while the Gulf coast will be on the cloudy and breezy side with showers developing in the afternoon hours. A high risk of dangerous rip currents will continue at the Atlantic beaches through Friday evening. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.
Friday will feature mostly sunny skies and a gusty breeze on the mainland, along with a few morning showers and afternoon storms in the East Coast metro area and some afternoon showers along the Gulf Coast. Look for plenty of sun and a brisk breeze in the Keys. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s on the mainland and in the low-80s in the Keys.
Saturday will see a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers on the mainland, while the Keys will be mostly cloudy with periods of showers. Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s on the mainland and in the low-80s in the Keys.
Sunrise on Easter Sunday will be at 7:08 am, and the forecast calls for plenty of sun and a few clouds. We can’t rule out a quick shower in spots in the East Coast metro area, but it won’t be enough to ruin Easter egg hunts. Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the mid-80s on the mainland and in the low-80s in the Keys.
