Warm mornings lead to afternoon showers and breezy conditions as dangerous rip currents persist through the spring weekend.
Wednesday features a seasonably warm morning, followed by good sun, a brisk and gusty breeze, and periods of showers in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see a sunny morning and plenty of afternoon showers. Look for good sun and some clouds on the breeze in the Keys. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches through at least Wednesday evening. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 80s along the East Coast, in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast, and mostly in the upper 70s in the Keys.
Thursday will bring morning lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. Then look for mostly sunny skies and passing showers on a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf coast will be sunny in the morning, but some clouds and showers will develop in the afternoon. The Keys will see good sun and some clouds on the breeze. Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at Atlantic beaches Thursday through the weekend. Thursday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
Friday will feature another warm morning, with lows mostly in the low 70s. Then we’ll see a mix of sun, clouds, and afternoon showers on the mainland. Look for gusty breezes to continue in the East Coast metro area. The Keys will see good sun and a few clouds on the breeze. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
Saturday will see a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on the mainland. Gusty breezes continue in the East Coast metro area. The Keys will be mostly sunny with maybe a shower in spots. Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday morning, so remember to set your clocks one hour ahead before going to sleep on Saturday night. Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and mostly in the upper 70s in the Keys.
Sunday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds on the mainland, with some showers, while the Keys will see lots of sun. Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
