Midweek Storms And Flooding Risks Give Way To A Sunny And Warm Spring Weekend

Wednesday features clouds and showers across the East Coast, with additional rainfall expected to lead to more flooding — so the flood watch for urban areas of Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties has been extended through at least 10 pm Wednesday evening.  The Gulf Coast will see a gusty breeze and a mix of sun, clouds, morning showers, and afternoon and evening storms.  Look for clouds and showers in the Keys.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents is in place at the Atlantic beaches through Thursday evening.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the upper 70s right at the Atlantic coast and in the low 80s elsewhere in South Florida.

Thursday will bring clouds and plenty of showers, with gusty winds across South Florida.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches.  Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will reach the low 80s.

Friday will feature mostly sunny skies and some showers at times in the East Coast, while the Gulf Coast will see a mix of sun, clouds, and a few afternoon storms in spots.  Look for plenty of sun in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Saturday will be mostly sunny in the East Coast and the Keys, but we can’t rule out a shower or two in spots.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Sunday’s forecast calls for a mostly sunny day in the East Coast and the Keys, while the Gulf Coast will see sunny skies.  Highs on Sunday will be in the low 80s in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.
