South Florida Weather: Afternoon Storms Transition To Sunny Skies With Highs Reaching Into The Low 90s

Tuesday features a morning mix of sun and clouds in the East Coast metro area, but look for periods of storms in the afternoon and some showers in the evening.  The Gulf Coast will see more clouds than sun and some showers and storms in the afternoon.  The Keys will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon showers and evening storms.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s along the Atlantic coast and in the Middle Keys, while the rest of South Florida will reach the low 90s.

Wednesday will bring plenty of clouds, some early storms, and showers in the afternoon across the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see more clouds than sun and some storms in the afternoon.  The Keys see more clouds than sun and a few showers and storms.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies with a few early showers and afternoon storms in the East Coast metro area.  Look for lots of sun along the Gulf Coast, and the Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers.  Thursday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Friday will see lots of sun around South Florida, but we can’t rule out a shower or storm in the East Coast metro area.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Saturday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with some afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun and maybe a stray shower or storm, and the Keys will be mostly sunny with maybe a stray shower in spots.  Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 80s in the East Coast metro area and near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
