Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s right at the coasts and mostly in the mid 90s elsewhere on the mainland. Highs in the Keys will be near 90 degrees. But all of South Florida will feel at least 10 degrees hotter, so stay hydrated and out of the sun.
Saturday will bring a mix of hot sun, clouds, and afternoon showers and storms to the mainland. The Keys will be mostly sunny, with a chance of showers or storms. Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.
Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies and afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see lots of hot sun and an afternoon storm in spots. The Keys will be mostly sunny and hot. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.
Monday will be sunny and hot around South Florida. The mainland will see some showers and storms in the mid to late afternoon. Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for lots of hot sun. Look for periods of showers and storms as well on the mainland. Highs on Tuesday will be in the low to mid 90s on the mainland and near 90 degrees in the Keys.
In the tropics, what’s left of Arthur continues to drop heavy rain on portions of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, western Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle. Dangerous flash flooding remains a major risk from this system.
