Steamy Sun Yields to Rainy Rhythms Across South Florida

28 de mayo de 2026

Mainland storms slice through humid sunshine before a thoroughly soggy weekend blankets both the coast and the Keys.

Thursday features steamy sun, plenty of clouds, and afternoon and evening showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will be mostly sunny with some showers and storms in spots.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s, with a few locations topping out at 90 degrees.

Friday will bring more clouds than sun, with periods of showers and storms on the mainland.  Look for some sun, more clouds, and the chance of a storm or two in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Saturday will feature lots of clouds and periods of showers and storms.  Saturday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the East Coast metro area and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Sunday will be another day of clouds, showers, and storms on the mainland.  Heavy rain is possible in spots.  Look for a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of showers and storms in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s, with a few locations reaching the 90-degree mark.

Monday’s forecast calls for lots of clouds with showers and storms in the east coast metro area, while the Gulf coast will see mostly sunny skies alternating with showers and storms.  The Keys will be mostly cloudy with some showers and storms.  Highs on Monday will be mostly in the upper 80s.
