Crews extinguish apartment fire in Sunrise; no injuries reported

SUNRISE, FLA. (WSVN) - Fire crews responded to an apartment fire in Sunrise.

The incident occurred at 4205 University Drive on Saturday morning.

According to fire crews, the fire broke out in the kitchen, which was heavily damaged, but it was quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported.
