Expect a frigid Tuesday followed by a steady temperature climb, bringing scattered storms and mid-80s by the weekend.
Tuesday features cold morning lows in the upper 30s to low 40s on the mainland, followed by sunny skies but not much of a warmup. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches, and there’s an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Gulf beaches. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid 60s.
Wednesday will bring chilly morning lows in the mid-40s to low-50s. The day will be sunny on the mainland, while the Keys will see a mix of sun and clouds as a warmup begins. Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid 70s.
Thursday will feature a cool morning, with lows in the mid-50s to low-60s. Then look for a mostly sunny day in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see lots of sun. Look for showers and storms across South Florida during the overnight hours. Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast metro area, in the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast, and in the mid to upper 70s in the Keys.
Friday morning will be seasonably mild, with lows in the mid to upper 60s on the mainland. The day will see a mix of sun and clouds with periods of showers and storms. Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s on the mainland and in the upper 70s in the Keys.
Saturday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the mid to upper 60s on the mainland, followed by a mix of sun, clouds, showers, and a few storms on the mainland and plenty of sun in the Keys. Highs on Saturday will be mostly in the mid 80s in the East Coast metro area, in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast, and in the upper-70s in the Keys.
