From Sizzle to Storms: South Florida’s Shifting Spring Forecast

Sunday features some sun and more clouds on the mainland, along with some afternoon showers in the East Coast.  The Keys will see good sun, some clouds, and maybe a stray shower at times.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s right at the coasts, in the upper 80s elsewhere on the mainland, and in the low to mid-80s in the Keys.

Monday will bring a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of storms in the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon storms, while the Keys will be mostly sunny and windy.  Look for increasingly breezy conditions, showers, and storms on the mainland in the evening as a front moves in.  Monday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and mostly in the low-80s in the Keys.

Tuesday will feature breezy conditions, a few lingering morning showers, and mostly sunny skies in the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast will be breezy and sunny.  Look for windy conditions and more clouds than sun in the Keys.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at beaches along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 70s on the East Coast, the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Wednesday will be a breezy and mostly sunny day around South Florida.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Wednesday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Thursday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on the mainland, while the Keys will see plenty of clouds and a few showers.  Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 70s in the East Coast and the Keys and the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.
