Sunday brings afternoon storms and rip current risks before a cold front delivers breezy conditions and chilly fifty-degree morning lows.
Sunday features more clouds than sun and some early storms in the East Coast metro area, but look for plenty of showers and a few storms in the afternoon and evening. The Gulf Coast will see plenty of clouds and a few showers in the morning, with more showers in the afternoon and evening. Look for clouds, some showers, and storms in the Keys. Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches. Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s right at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys, with the rest of South Florida reaching the mid 80s.
Monday will bring a mix of sun and clouds with morning showers and afternoon storms on a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area as another front moves in. The Gulf coast will be breezy, with mostly sunny skies and periods of showers, mainly in the afternoon. Look for clouds, showers, and some storms in the Keys. Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at beaches along the Atlantic and Gulf Coasts. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s on the mainland and in the low-80s in the Keys.
Tuesday will feature cool morning lows in the upper 50s to the low 60s on the mainland. Then look for a gusty breeze, plenty of clouds, and some showers in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast will see clouds and showers in the morning, followed by breezy conditions and mostly sunny skies. The Keys will see plenty of clouds and a few showers. Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 70s.
Wednesday will start with lows in the chilly 50s on the mainland. The day will be cloudy with showers on a gusty breeze throughout South Florida. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 70s.
Thursday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun, with showers around South Florida. Look for breezy conditions along the Gulf coast as well. Highs on Thursday will be in the mid-70s on the mainland and the low-70s in the Keys.
