South Florida To See Mid-80s Heat Before Late-Week Storms And Rip Current Risks Return To Area Beaches

Tuesday features a seasonably mild morning, followed by lots of sun and a few clouds at times.  The Keys could also see a stray shower in spots.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 80s right at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will see highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday will bring morning lows in the upper 60s to low 70s on the mainland.  Then South Florida will see another sunny day.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low-80s in the Keys.

Thursday will feature a mix of sun and clouds on the mainland, with periods of showers, and we’ll also see a gusty breeze near the Gulf coast.  Look for clouds, showers, and a storm in spots in the Keys.  Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Friday will start with a few early showers and storms on the mainland.  Then look for some sun, more clouds, and periods of showers and storms on the mainland and a mix of sun and clouds in the Keys.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Saturday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds on the mainland, while the Keys will see plenty of clouds and periods of showers and storms.  Highs on Saturday will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area, in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
