- Mainland: A mix of sun and increasing clouds. Showers and storms kick off in the late morning near the Gulf Coast, pushing toward the East Coast metro area by the late afternoon.
- The Keys: A blend of sun and clouds with a few spotty showers or storms.
- Temperatures: Highs will sit in the upper 80s right at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys. The rest of South Florida will climb into the low 90s. Note: It will feel significantly hotter, especially in the East Coast metro area, so keep a water bottle handy.
Wednesday
- Mainland: Cloudy skies dominate with widespread showers and storms, particularly during the afternoon and evening hours.
- The Keys: Mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers and storms.
- Temperatures: Highs will top out in the mid-80s for the East Coast metro area, and the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and the Keys.
Thursday
- Mainland & Keys: The gloomy pattern continues with heavily cloudy skies and periodic rounds of showers and storms tracking across the entire region.
- Temperatures: Highs will remain steady in the mid-80s on the mainland and the upper 80s in the Keys.
Friday
- Mainland: A return to mostly sunny skies, though the East Coast metro area will still see periods of showers and storms. Afternoon storms will also develop along the Gulf Coast and interior.
- The Keys: A mix of sun and clouds with the potential for a stray shower or storm.
- Temperatures: Highs will land in the mid-80s on the mainland and the upper 80s in the Keys.
Saturday
- Mainland & Keys: The weekend starts strong with mostly sunny skies for the East Coast metro and the Keys, and abundant sunshine along the Gulf Coast. Only a few scattered showers and storms are expected on the mainland.
- Temperatures: Highs will be uniform in the upper 80s across the board.
Tropics Update: While the hurricane season is officially underway, the tropics are currently quiet. However, now is the perfect time to review your family emergency plan and restock your hurricane supply kits.
