South Florida Weather: Weekend Sun Gives Way to a Soggy Workweek

Saturday features mostly sunny skies and periods of storms during the afternoon in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see more clouds than sun and maybe a shower.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s right at the coasts and in the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will reach the 90-degree mark.

Sunday will bring steamy sun, plenty of clouds, and afternoon showers and storms to the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies and a few showers on a gusty breeze, while the Keys will see more clouds than sun and the chance of a storm.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Monday will feature plenty of clouds with afternoon showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers and storms.  Monday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Tuesday will see lots of clouds with periods of showers and storms in the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see a mix of sun and clouds with some showers and storms on a gusty breeze.  Look for mostly cloudy skies in the Keys.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for lots of clouds, showers, and some storms around South Florida.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 80s.
