Expect a mix of gusty winds, afternoon storms, and clearing skies as temperatures climb toward a bright weekend finale.
Wednesday features a cool morning, followed by a mix of sun and clouds on a brisk and gusty breeze. A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches on Wednesday morning and will gradually ease during the afternoon. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 70s in the East Coast and the Keys, and mostly in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.
Thursday will bring morning lows in the 60s on the mainland and the low 70s in the Keys. The day will be on the cloudy side, with showers and storms on the mainland and some showers in the Keys. Look for a gusty breeze in the East Coast metro area. Thursday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys and in the low 80s along the Gulf Coast.
Friday will feature mostly sunny skies and the chance of an afternoon storm or two in the East Coast. The Gulf coast will be sunny most of the day, but a few storms are possible in spots in the afternoon. Look for plenty of clouds and some showers in spots in the Keys. Friday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
Saturday will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon storms in spots in the East Coast. The Gulf Coast will see lots of sun, but the Keys will be cloudy with periods of showers. Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low-80s in the Keys.
Sunday’s forecast calls for sunny skies around South Florida. Highs on Sunday will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low-80s in the Keys.
