Sunny Sunday Gives Way to Increasing Clouds and Midweek Showers

Sunday features mostly sunny skies, a gusty breeze, and a few morning showers in the east coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast will see lots of hot sun and some afternoon storms in spots.  The Keys will be mostly sunny with a few showers and storms on a brisk breeze.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains at the Atlantic beaches. Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 80s right at the Atlantic coast and in the Keys, while the rest of South Florida will reach the low 90s.

Monday will bring good sun, some clouds, and periods of showers and storms in the east coast metro area and the Keys.  The Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon storms in spots.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic beaches.  Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and the Keys and in the low 90s along the Gulf coast.

Tuesday will feature more clouds than sun and afternoon showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will see plenty of clouds and showers.  Tuesday’s highs will be in the upper 80s in the east coast metro area and the Keys, and in the low 90s along the Gulf coast.

Wednesday will be mostly cloudy in the east coast metro area and the Keys.  Look for mainly afternoon showers and storms in the east coast metro area and periods of showers in the Keys.  The Gulf Coast will see more clouds than sun, and afternoon showers and storms.  Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.

Thursday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun, plenty of showers, and some storms in spots.  Highs on Thursday will be in the upper 80s.
