Sunny Weekend Heat Gives Way to Stormy Skies

Friday features some early fog along the Gulf Coast and in the interior.  Then the day will be sunny and hot throughout South Florida.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains along the Palm Beach County coast, and there’s a moderate rip current risk at the beaches of Broward and Miami-Dade.  Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s right at the Atlantic coast and in the low 90s elsewhere in the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast will reach the upper 80s, while the Keys will see highs in the mid 80s.

Saturday will bring sunny skies across the area, along with a gusty breeze in the East Coast.  Look for some evening and overnight storms along the Gulf Coast as a front approaches.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low to mid-90s in the East Coast and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Sunday will feature more clouds than sun and periods of showers and storms on the mainland.  Look for plenty of showers along the Gulf Coast and some storms in the East Coast.  The Keys will see plenty of clouds and some showers.  Sunday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the East Coast and mostly in the low 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with morning showers and afternoon storms in the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast will see plenty of clouds and periods of showers and storms.  The Keys will be mostly cloudy with stormy periods.  Monday’s highs will be
lots of clouds and periods of showers and storms in the East Coast, while the Gulf Coast and the Keys will see some sun, more clouds, some storms, and periods of showers.  Highs on Monday will be in the mid-80s on the East Coast and in the low-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for more clouds than sun and periods of showers and storms in the East Coast.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the mid 80s.
