Sunshine Mixed With Showers and Smoky Coastal Skies

Friday features a mild morning with some fog near the Gulf coast, followed by mostly sunny skies, a few afternoon showers, and periods of showers in the evening on the mainland.  Smoke from fires in Collier County will affect urban areas along the Gulf coast as well as the interior.  Look for plenty of sun, a few clouds, and maybe a stray shower in the Keys.  Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents along the Palm Beach County coast.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 80s along the coast, in the mid 80s elsewhere on the mainland, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Saturday will bring morning lows in the mid to upper 60s.  The day will see a mix of sun, clouds, and periods of showers on the mainland, while the Keys will be mostly sunny with a few showers.  Saturday’s highs will be mostly in the mid-80s in the East Coast metro area and near 80 degrees along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Sunday will feature morning lows in the low to mid 60s on the mainland.  Then we’ll see mostly sunny skies, with a few afternoon showers along the Gulf Coast and a storm or two in the East Coast metro area.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and the upper 70s in the Keys.

Monday morning will see morning lows in the low to mid 60s again.  The East Coast metro area will be sunny with a few clouds and afternoon showers, while the Gulf Coast will see mostly sunny skies.  Look for lots of sun in the Keys.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast and the Keys will see sunny skies.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 80s on the mainland and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
