South Florida To Experience Typical Summer Heat And Showers As Tropical Disturbance Heads Toward Texas

Sunday features mostly sunny skies with some afternoon showers and storms on the mainland.  The Keys will see plenty of sun with maybe the chance of a shower or storm.  Sunday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Monday will bring lots of morning sun and plenty of afternoon showers and storms to the East Coast metro area.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will see sunny skies.  Monday’s highs will be in the low 90s in the East Coast metro area and near 90 degrees along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.

Tuesday will feature sunny skies in the morning across the East Coast metro area, but showers and storms will return in the afternoon.  The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be sunny again.  Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 90s.

Wednesday will be another hot and sunny day in South Florida, but we can’t rule out an afternoon storm in the east coast metro area.  Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Thursday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds with some showers and storms in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with a few afternoon showers and storms.  Look for good sun and a few clouds in the Keys.  Highs on Thursday will be in the low 90s.

In the tropics, a disorganized batch of showers and storms is approaching the eastern coast of Mexico and is expected to reemerge and bring rain to portions of Texas.  This feature has a low chance of becoming a depression.
