Early week showers yield to building heat as temperatures climb toward ninety degrees across South Florida by Friday.
Monday features more clouds than sun and periods of showers in the East Coast metro area. The Gulf Coast and the Keys will be mostly sunny with a few storms in spots. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s on the East Coast and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
Tuesday will bring a mix of sun, clouds, morning showers, and afternoon storms on the mainland. The East Coast will also see a gusty breeze. Look for good sun, a few clouds, and the chance of a shower or storm in the Keys. Tuesday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.
Wednesday will feature mostly sunny skies and unseasonable heat around South Florida. We can’t rule out a stray shower or storm in the Keys. Wednesday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s.
Thursday will be another hot, mostly sunny day across South Florida. Thursday’s highs will be mostly in the upper 80s — but some suburban locations could reach the 90-degree mark.
Friday’s forecast calls for hot sun and a few clouds. Look for a few showers and storms in the East Coast as well. Highs on Friday will be mostly in the low 90s on the East Coast and in the upper 80s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
