Monday storms transition to a breezy, cooler week featuring elevated rip current risks and highs in the mid seventies.
Monday features breezy conditions and a mix of sun, clouds, and showers in the morning in the East Coast metro area, but storms will develop in the afternoon and last into the evening. The Gulf Coast will see breezy conditions, mostly sunny skies, and mainly afternoon and evening showers. Look for plenty of clouds and some storms in the Keys. Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at the Atlantic and Gulf beaches as we feel the effects of a front. Monday’s highs will be mostly in the mid 80s.
Tuesday will bring morning lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s on the mainland. The day will be cool and breezy with plenty of showers and a few afternoon storms in the East Coast metro area, while the Gulf Coast will see morning showers and a mostly sunny and breezy afternoon. The Keys will see more clouds than sun with a few showers. Expect an elevated risk of dangerous rip currents at beaches along the Atlantic and Gulf beaches. Tuesday’s highs will be mostly in the low 70s.
Wednesday will feature a chilly morning on the mainland, with lows in the mid-50s to low-60s. Then look for lots of clouds and some showers on a gusty breeze throughout South Florida. The Gulf Coast will also see a few afternoon and evening storms. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 70s on the East Coast and in the mid-70s along the Gulf Coast and in the Keys.
Thursday will start with lows in the upper 50s to mid 60s on the mainland. The day will see gusty breezes, more clouds than sun, and a few showers. Thursday’s highs will be in the mid-70s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast.
Friday’s forecast calls for morning lows in the upper 50s to mid-60s on the mainland, followed by sunny skies along the Gulf Coast and a mix of sun, clouds, and a few showers in the East Coast metro area. The Keys will see mostly sunny skies. Highs on Friday will be in the mid-70s in the East Coast metro area and the Keys and in the upper 70s along the Gulf Coast.
