Sun-Soaked Start Gives Way to Breezy Winds and Rising Rain Chances Across South Florida

Friday features seasonable morning lows in the mid-60s to low-70s, followed by lots of sun and a few clouds.  An afternoon shower or two is possible in spots on the mainland.  A high risk of dangerous rip currents remains along the Palm Beach County coast.  Friday’s highs will be mostly in the low 80s in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Saturday will bring morning lows in the mid-60s to low-70s again.  Then look for plenty of sun across South Florida, with some afternoon clouds and showers developing on the mainland, lasting into the evening as a front approaches.  Saturday’s highs will be in the mid-80s on the mainland and the low-80s in the Keys.

Sunday will feature breezy conditions, more clouds than sun, and periods of showers in the East Coast, while the Gulf Coast will be mostly sunny with some showers on a gusty breeze.  Look for plenty of sun and a brisk breeze in the Keys.  Sunday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys and in the low 80s along the Gulf Coast.

Monday morning lows will be in the mid to upper 60s on the mainland.  Then we’ll see mostly sunny skies and gusty breezes on the mainland.  Expect some afternoon showers in the East Coast metro area and an afternoon storm or two along the Gulf Coast.  The Keys will see plenty of sun again.  Monday’s highs will be near 80 degrees in the East Coast and the Keys and in the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a mix of sun, clouds, and showers on the mainland, while the Keys will see mostly cloudy skies with periods of showers and storms.  Highs on Tuesday will be in the low 80s in the East Coast, the mid-80s along the Gulf Coast, and near 80 degrees in the Keys.
